Bluebells on Old Exeter Road Tavistock.

Watercolour done in the studio from a plein air sketch which I painted one showery morning last week, even though there was a lot of shower activity, in between there was some strong sunlight which I have tried to capture from the sketch reference and from my memory.

The train passing through platform 2, Watercolour.

This was composed purely out of my imagination, trying to achieve an atmospheric scene incorporating the age of the steam engine, not an expert on steam engines, so I tried to paint it in a loose style, so that if there is any mistakes in the construction of the train it won't be so obvious.

In the style of James Fletcher-Watson, line and wash.

Tried out this painting, which is a copy of one of James Fletcher-Watson works, using the colours that he would have used and the method, the only difference is that I used line work to give a little detail.

Oil painting;Coverack slipway

This is an oil painting I started some time ago, and was not completely satisfied with it, I decided to try and finish it off and to arrange into a better composition, now finished I feel a lot better with the end result.
The painting is of Coverack in Cornwall, which I find has retained much of its originality.
